Sinusitis is inflammation of the sinuses causing congestion, facial pressure, nasal discharge and reduced sense of smell.

Nasal Obstruction / Blocked Nose
Nasal Obstruction is difficulty breathing through the nose, often caused by congestion, allergies, a deviated septum or enlarged nasal structures.
Diagnosis involves assessing your symptoms and examining the nose. Nasal endoscopy may be recommended to identify the cause of the blockage.

Allergic Rhinitis (Hay Fever)
Allergic rhinitis (hay fever) is inflammation of the nose caused by allergies, often resulting in sneezing, congestion, a runny nose and itchy eyes.
Diagnosis involves assessing your symptoms and identifying potential allergy triggers. Examination of the nose and allergy testing may be recommended.

Nasal Polyps
Nasal polyps are soft, non-cancerous growths in the nasal passages or sinuses that can cause congestion, reduced smell and difficulty breathing.

Deviated Septum
A deviated septum occurs when the wall between the nasal passages is crooked or displaced, which can cause nasal blockage and difficulty breathing.

Chronic Sinusitis
Long-term inflammation of the sinuses causing persistent nasal congestion, facial pressure, nasal discharge and reduced sense of smell. Symptoms may continue for 12 weeks or longer.
Nasal Congestion
Nasal congestion is a blocked or stuffy nose that can make breathing diffcult. It maybe caused by allergies, sinusitis, nasal polyps or structural problems.
Non-Allergic Rhinitis
Non-allergic rhinitis causes nasal congestion, a runny nose or sneezing without an allergic trigger. Symptoms can be triggered by irritants, weather changes or strong smells.
Turbinate Hypertrophy
Turbinate hypertrophy occurs when the structures inside the nose become enlarged, reducing airflow through the nasal passages. It can contribute to persistent nasal blockage and diffculty breathing.
Snoring/Sleep Apnoea
Snoring occurs when airflow through the nose and throat becomes partially restricted during sleep. Sleep apnoea can cause repeated interruptions to breathing and may require specialist assessment.
Post-Nasal Drip
Post-nasal drip occurs when mucus drains from the nose into the back of the throat. It maycause throat clearing, coughing, irritation or a sensation of mucus in the throat.
Reduced Sense of Smell
Reduced sense of smell can occur due to nasal congestion, sinusitus, nasal polyps, infections or other conditions. Persistent changes in smell may require assessment to identify the underlying cause.
Nosebleeds (Epistaxis)
Nosebleeds occur when blood vessels inside the nose become damaged or irrtated. Most areminor, but recurrent or difficult-to-control nosebleeds may require specialist assessment.
