Dr Marina Cavada is a specialist Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) surgeon providing adult and paediatric ENT care across Sydney. She specializes in general adult and pediatric ENT conditions and has completed advanced training in nose and sinus disorders (Rhinology).
Dr. Cavada earned her medical degree from the Federal University of Pelotas in Brazil before completing her ENT specialist training at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Early in her career, she gained invaluable experience working in rural healthcare through a Brazilian government initiative, where she honed her skills in family and community health.
To further her expertise, Dr. Cavada undertook a Clinical Research Fellowship in Rhinology at St. Vincent’s Centre for Applied Medical Research, affiliated with the University of New South Wales. She later completed additional ENT training in Australia at Macquarie University Hospital and Sydney Adventist Hospital, ultimately earning her Australian Fellowship certificate in ENT (Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery).
